About the Artist
Meet Sheri Davis, a former CPA turned jewelry artist who discovered her true passion later in life. After spending a decade crunching numbers in public accounting while raising her son, fate had a surprise in store when she found herself expecting triplets. Trading balance sheets for baby bottles, she realized she still needed intellectual stimulation and adult conversation. This led her to help with her parents' pharmacy business a couple of days a week, but that was just the beginning.
In 2002, Sheri and her sister, Debbie, ventured into the world of vitamins and supplements, launching a business that flourished over the next 17 years. Their success caught the eye of a larger company, and in 2019, they sold their business. Sheri stayed on to assist the new owners for three years, but when her role came to an end, she faced an unexpected dilemma: what to do at 60 years old?
That's when Sheri stumbled upon the art of jewelry making. She enrolled in several classes and quickly fell head over heels in love with the craft. This wasn't a complete surprise, as she had always had an artistic flair and a creative mind, even while working with numbers. Suddenly, at an age when many are thinking about retirement, she found herself embarking on a brand-new adventure. Each day, she wakes up excited to create unique pieces of wearable art and goes to bed dreaming up designs for the next day.
From spreadsheets to silver and gold, Sheri has embraced this new chapter with enthusiasm and joy. Her journey is a testament to the idea that it's never too late to find your true calling.
When she's not busy in her studio, Sheri enjoys spending time with her family and her partner, Kurt and their Double Doodle, T-Bone. You can often find them boating, finding peace, creativity and adventure on the water.
Today, Sheri is having the time of her life doing what she loves: making beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewelry that brings joy to others.
